Hi Chris,

What beautiful pics you have of your hoyas!...I didnt know which one to comment on as they all look wonderful..I must say, H. fungii is one of my favourites...i love the look of the leaves...you must have your hoyas growing on a nice, sunny windowsill?...I would love to hear your details on how you grow them...I linked your blog to mine, I hope you dont mind. I think any hoya lover would love to see this!..

Hi Sandy! thank you for the nice comment. My husband helped me with the pictures as I'm not very good at it ! Those were taken a very bright sunny day so the light is very nice but it's actually been raining for days here in North Italy. That's why I wanted to buy grow lights. My hoyas are all on a windowsill facing east. Most of them do fine with it, but in winter the light is really dim. I take them outside during spring and summer and there they really thrive (also in the hope some insects will pollinate them!). I have been growing hoyas only for a couple of years, but I really enjoy it and try to do my best. Most of them haven't flowered yet, except carnosa and lacunosa. I'm really happy you linked my blog to yours. Thank you !

You are welcome and yes summer is such a nice time to have the hoyas outside...they love the fresh air and long days and grow so well...you never know, you may get some seed pods from an insect pollinating them!....I am sure you will love the grow lights in winter....mine are even on in summer as all my plants cant fit outside...its great for starting cuttings too...you and your husband did great job on the pics......I will look forward to seeing more of your pics....

It's also cloudy and miserable here... the hoyas are plodding on but I just can't really afford a light just for my plants... but I think the plants will be ok over the winter, hopefully they'll flower next year!
Lovely to see another hoya blogger!
